How is the vinyl decking installed?
Armor Deck vinyl decking is installed with a double bond or contact cement; subsequently, in order to ensure a waterproof, watertight finish it is triple-welded at the seams. The result is a beautiful, natural finish that is completely waterproof. To qualify for the manufacturer’s 10-year warranty, certified Armor Deck dealers and installers will do the installation of the waterproofing membrane. The Armor Deck vinyl membrane waterproofing product can be installed over standard moisture exposed areas including sundecks, terraces, roof decks, patios, areas around pools and boathouses or other recreational areas and more.

Yes, Armor Deck Ltd. and its associates have created a Canadian-made, high- quality waterproofing, vinyl decking product that meets the requirements of the BC Building Code. Armor Deck vinyl decking membrane is manufactured in accordance with the Canadian Building Standards. Armor Deck vinyl decking can serve as a roofing grade and walking deck membrane in accordance with CAN/CGSB 37.54-95 and ICBO AC-39.

Armor Deck’s vinyl decking warranty on materials is comparative with industry standards. Sea to Sky Armor Deck Ltd. offers a ten-year limited warranty on our 66-mil slick-back PVC vinyl.
The warranty for the Armor Deck vinyl waterproofing decking surface continues for 120 months from the date of installation guaranteeing defective-free materials. This warranty does not include repairs or replacement due to misuse or abuse. Please note that repairs made by non-certified Armor Deck representatives absolve Sea To Sky Armor Deck of further liability under this warranty. The installation company would then be responsible to provide a warranty for the labor and workmanship of the vinyl decking surfaces.
